Valentine's Day Screening

February 20, 2008
"I can't say enough good things about what you've done. Fantastic job all around. You should be really proud of your work. Great performances from your actors, nice cinematography, editing, score, pacing, and of course directing."
"You weaved a tight and compelling story. There wasn't a moment where I didn't want to know what was going to happen next."
"It was a fantastic night and the films were great!"
These are some of the reviews written after the first screening of Valentine's Day, our latest film, to a packed house at the Delancey Street Screening Room in San Francisco. The program also included Scrum, a 7 minute short film that I wrote and directed earlier this year.
As you can see by the big smile on our faces(and our first reviews), the screening went incredibly well. Beyond our killer poster, a cryptic trailer and a quick synopsis, most of the crowd had no idea what to expect. Judging by the reaction from the crowd by the time the film finished, the crowd got it...and loved it!
After the film, Will(Ray Valentine), Katie Krueger(Veronica) and I got up on stage and spent fifteen minutes in a question/answer session(Most interesting question: How many people do you think are affected by cheating on the Internet?). The cast and crew then spent the rest of the evening mingling with audience members at Delancey Street Restaurant where the conversations continued on into the evening.
Thanks to all who came out to show support for this film. Now, on to the festival circuit!
